Founder and director of Compete Hockey Academy and Schoool. Cam has extensive experience in youth hockey development and professional playing experience in Western Hockey League, National Hockey League, American Hockey League and various professional leagues in Europe.
Cam uses his vast hockey knowledge acquired by playing for some of the best coaches in the world. He will pass on his knowledge and teach what it takes to improve as a player. He focuses first on individual skill development and then combines the systems of hockey that make players successful.
Cam also is the head coach of The Compete Hockey Academy Rams Midget Tier 1 team.

Kim Ferraro-Severson
Power Skating Instructor

Certified skating instructor and conditioning coach, Kim was a competitive figure skater and professional ice show performer for 13 years. Kim has found a way to combine her knowledge of figure skating for hockey players to make them more efficient skaters with focus on edge control, crossovers and agility skating.
Tyson Knudsen
Assistant Director & Lead Instructor

Tyson played three years of Jr.'s. Following juniors, he spent two years at Minot State University-Bottineau and helped win a NJCAA National Championship with the MSU-B Lumberjacks. After graduating MSU-B with an Associates of Arts Degree, he transferred to Framingham State College in Massachusetts and played for the FSC Rams (ECAC Division III) where he earned a B.A. Degree in History in 2006. His coaching experience includes two seasons as an assistant coach and one season as head coach for the Coeur d' Alene Amateur Hockey Association's Tier II U-18 team during the 2009-2010 season. He is currently an assistant coach for the Compete Hockey Academy Rams Midget Tier 1 team. Tyson will coach the Compete Hockey Academy Rams Bantam AAA team for the 2013-14 season.
Kyle Knudsen
Lead Goalie Instructor

Kyle grew up playing hockey with the Spokane Youth hockey program from Squirt's to Midgets. In 2001, he played one season for the Liberty Lake Lumberjacks of the NORPAC Hockey League. In the 2002-2003 season, he played for the Sacramento Capitol Thunder of the Western States Hockey League. Kyle then went on to play 2 years of Junior College hockey at Minot State University-Bottineau in North Dakota. In 2005, he was named NJCAA first team All-American. He then transferred to the University of Minnesota-Crookston (Division 2), which played out of the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Assocation.
After the 2006 season, Kyle made the MCHA All-Academic Team. After playing his final year in 2007, he continued on at UMC to finish school and begin coaching in the Crookston Youth Hockey program. For the next 2 years, he coached the Crookston Bantam A team. In 2009-2010, he was busy with student teaching and was unable to coach full time but still managed to help as a goalie coach for the Red Lake Falls High School varsity team in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota. After graduating in the spring of 2010, with a coaching minor and B.A. in Early Childhood Education, he moved back to Spokane, Washington where he is currently the head goaltending coach for Compete Hockey Schools and the assistant coach of the Compete Hockey Academy Rams Midget Tier 1 team.
Kyle's philosphy as a goalie coach is to develop and strengthen the basic fundamentals of goaltending through a combination of focus, hard work, and commitment that will help young goalies reach their potential to play at the next level.
Tyler Johnson - Instructor

Tyler has coached for Compete Hockey for the last 6 years. He currently plays with Norfolf Admirals of the America Hockey League where he one the Calder Cup last season. Tyler won the Memorial Cup in 2008 with the Chiefs, a Gold medal at the 2010 World Junior Championships for team USA, and a Calder Cup Championship with the American Hockey League's Norfolk Admirals. Tyler is a Tampa Bay Lightning signed prospect.
Jeff Smith - Instructor
Jeff has been involved in coaching at Compete Hockey for the past 6 years. He currently plays at the RIT- Rochester Institute of Technology, NCAA D-1 Atlantic Hockey Conference. He played juniors for the Tri City Storm- USHL, Salmon Arm Silverbacks - BCHL. Jeff went to high school at Shattuck St. Mary's in Faribault, MN.
Evan Witt - Instructor
Evan has coached at Compete Hockey for the last 4 years. He played at Michigan Tech- NCAA D-1 WCHA on a hockey scholarship. Before that he played for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs BCHL juniors.
Tanner Mort - Instructor
Tanner and his brother Tyler are products is Sever’s Summer Hockey School. Tanner now plays for the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey league as a 16 year old defensemen. Tanner is a product of the Coeur d'alene area youth hockey program.
Tyler Alos - Instructor

Tyler will be a coach at Sever’s Summer Hockey School for his second summer. He currently plays for the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League. Tyler has had an impressive rookie season as a 16 year old forward. Before that Tyler played for the CDA Lakers in the NORPAC junior league.
Tyler Mort - Instructor

Tyler has attended and now coaches at Compete Hockey Schools as one of its head instructors. Tyler played for the Spokane Braves before playing in the NAHL for the Wenachee Wild and then later traded to the Texas Tornados. Tyler now attends Eastern Washington University and plays for EWU Eagles of the British Columbia Intercollegate Hockey League
Rance Hughes - Instructor

Rance has coached for Compete Hockey for the last 6 years. Rance played for the Spokane Braves of KIJHL and then went on to play for the St Louis Bandits of the North American Hockey league. Before that, Rance played for the CDA Laker of the NORPAC league. Rance is also a product of the Couer d'alene area youth hockey program.
